James Street Tavern: A Cozy Dive Bar Experience with Great Food and Drinks

Typical tavern food (they were out of some items). Didn't like the upcharge for fries. Bartender and server were great! Very clean and good atmosphere for beers with friends.

My first time here with a friend and I enjoyed it. Service was fast, prices were reasonable, and I liked how they shredded the chicken fory Caesar Salad. The drinks were decent and not watered down, yet not overly intoxicating.

It’s a dive bar with good food and good service. Can’t say anything about the alcohol though because I don’t drink that stuff. The place is kinda biker like. I feel like bikers can rush in at any moment and steal ur beer and food and ride off while revving their bikes and being obnoxious!

I would love to see 30 and under singles night, and possibly 40 and over couples night. Maybe get some creative content on social media if you're not already trending. But yes I love this for yall. The hidden music box is going to be a good addition later for sure. Tried something out of my comfort zone this time and it left me surprised. Was too scared to try the shrimp quesadilla, but if it's anything like this. I DEFF Recommend flavorful and appetizing, was a healthy to-go platter for sure

My family recently had a large lunch here after my grandfather’s funeral and the staff here was phenomenal! All of the food was delicious, the waitresses who helped us out with drinks and making sure we had everything we needed, WERE THE BEST! They were so attentive and friendly with everything the whole afternoon! They went above and beyond even packing all the leftovers up for us! We are extremely thankful for the team that helped make the luncheon possible! Highly recommend visiting them if you can!

I was very happy (and surprised) at how good this Cheesesteak was. I have to admit that I went to James Street Tavern with low expections and they blew me away. Too bad for them because now I may be back. Good fresh well made cheesesteak. I wish it was bigger. They are known for their wings.

The food was great. I had there Philly cheese steak. The bar tender tonight was very nice accommodating. The atmosphere was great. I will be back.
